Sweepstakes casinos traditionally offer two types of virtual currency – Gold Coins and Sweeps Coins or SC. SC is more sought after because you can use them for prize redemptions like cash prizes for example, if you meet the redemption requirements.
With that in mind, it’s important that you understand how to get free SC Coins from these platforms. This can be done in a variety of ways including the welcome bonus, daily login bonus, and other sweepstakes casino offers. So you can benefit from these promos, we’ve recommended three excellent sweepstakes casinos, and explain how these different offers work below.

As mentioned, free SC Coins can be obtained in a variety of ways – you just have to know where to look and what to do. We know this, and have used our years of experience to list the common SC promotions available at sweepstakes casinos like Stake.us and WOW Vegas. Please note that not every platform will have all of these bonuses, and you may have to do a little digging.
The welcome bonus is the top number 1 free SC bonus. The best sweepstakes casinos like Stake.us and McLuck have an excellent welcome bonus or no deposit bonus that includes free SC Coins. To claim it, you usually have to register a new account and perhaps enter a promotional code in the relevant box. We’ve compared the welcome bonuses from Stake.us, WOW Vegas, and McLuck below:
| Sweepstakes casino | Welcome bonus |
|---|---|
| Stake.us | $55 Stake Cash, 250,000 GC, 5% rakeback |
| McLuck | 7,500 GC & 2.5 SC |
| WOW Vegas | 250,000 GC & 5 SC |
When claiming your welcome bonus, make sure you are clear on the terms and conditions and look for things like expiry periods on the SC, and the minimum redemption requirements.
We never see people mention the mail-in request, and this is partly because sweepstakes casinos hide it away in their “sweepstakes rules” page. They have to include it to comply with regulations, but they don’t make it obvious.
What is it? This is a postal request you can send to the sweepstakes casino to claim free SC Coins. The amount is usually 3-5 SC per mail order request, and you can often send multiple requests. All you have to do is follow the instructions, write the correct text, and post it to the correct address, and you should receive your free SC!
The only downside with this free sweepstakes coins promo is that it’s obviously slower than the other methods, and it may take time for the sweepstakes casino to accept your request.
After the sweepstakes casino welcome bonus, the daily login bonus is your next best source of free SC Coins. Some platforms only give GC as the daily login bonus, but the best social casinos give free sweepstakes coins too. All you have to do to claim this bonus is usually open the website, login to your account, and hit the claim button. We’ve compared the daily login bonus from our top sites below:
| Sweepstakes casino | Gold Coins | Sweeps Coins |
|---|---|---|
| McLuck | 2,500 | 0.25 |
| WOW Vegas | Up to 50,000 | Up to 5 |
| Stake.us | 10,000 | 1 |
Remember to claim your daily login bonus each day even if you don’t play games – it’s literally free SC Coins, so there is no reason not to spend a few seconds claiming it!
Sweepstakes casinos aim to increase their visibility and attract new customers via social media. Because of this, they use their social media platforms for giveaways and competitions, as well as news articles and promotional material.
We recommend following the different profiles a platform has (such as X, Instagram, and Facebook) and turning notifications on. You can then see when new giveaways and events happen. Often times these giveaways involve you performing some type of engagement like sharing the post or commenting (which boosts the casino’s engagement).
There is no guarantee that you will get the free SC Coins, but the quicker you act, the better chance you have of being one of the lucky winners.
We find that people often overlook the referral scheme, but this can be a consistent way to get free SC Coins and it means you can enjoy the sweepstakes platforms with your friends.
With most referral schemes, you are given a unique referral code. You then have to give this code to other people and they must use it to register an account. Usually, the person must also make a qualifying Gold Coin package purchase. Once they have met the referral criteria, you get your reward which typically includes a chunk of SC and GC.
In most instances you can get multiple rewards from this referral scheme although some platforms place a maximum limit on the number of people you can refer. Regardless, it’s a great way to ramp up your SC balance.
You can find plenty of sweepstakes casino free spins offers and other free SC Coins but some platforms are more giving with these bonuses than others. We know this, so have recommended three top sweepstakes casinos that offer all of the free sweepstakes coins promotion types we’ve listed above. These sites also have brilliant game collections and are legal for most US residents to play at.
WOW Vegas has a superb welcome bonus split into two parts. To start, open the website and register a new account. You will then get credited with 250,000 WOW Coins and a whopping 5 SC. After that, you get an enhanced daily login bonus for the first three days. Day 1 – 150,000 WOW Coins & 3 SC, day 2 & 3 – 50,000 GC & 1 SC.
Not only that, but WOW Vegas also has a progressive daily login bonus that can boost to 50,000 WOW Coins & 5 SC if you login for consecutive days. Other SC promotions include the 3 SC mail-in request, social media competitions, and a referral bonus worth 5,000 WOW Coins & 20 SC. With these free SC Coins, you can take advantage of the 1,200+ gaming experiences, which include an incredible array of video slots, Megaways slots, Slingo, and jackpot slots.
Stake.us also makes sure you get plenty of free SC Coins due to its incredible welcome offer. When using the BBUDDYAPP promo code during registration you get 55 Stake Cash, 250,000 Gold Coins, and 5% rakeback which makes it one of the best SC welcome bonuses available. Stake.us is also known for its sweepstakes casino bonus drop codes where you can regularly win 5-10 SC.
Stake.us also has a mail-in request of 5 SC and one of the better daily login bonuses worth 10,000 GC & 1 SC. Like WOW Vegas, Stake.us delivers when it comes to game variety and one of our favorite aspects is the Stake Originals. We love the arcade-style games like Plinko, Dice, and HiLi as they give you a different gaming experience compared to slots. Stake has no shortage of those either though, with a game catalog of 950+ titles.
McLuck is renowned for having an excellent collection of Megaways and it’s one of the biggest we’ve seen with 40+ titles. This includes some of our favorite games like Buffalo King and Pompeii. We also love that McLuck continues to expand its live casino section and you can currently enjoy live blackjack and roulette.
For free SC Coins, McLuck has a bonus offer of 7,500 GC & 2.5 SC that you can claim using the code BONUSBUDDY during registration. You then get a nice login bonus of 2,500 GC & 0.25 SC every 24 hours. McLuck also has an excellent referral bonus that you can utilize up to 10x. If you get the full 10 referrals, you get a bonus of 200,000 Gold Coins and 20 SC which makes it one of the better referral schemes available.
We hope you have found this guide on free SC Coins beneficial. Despite this being a premium currency, you can see that sweepstakes casinos give plenty of ways to earn SC. The key is understanding the different methods and knowing the tricks and tips to get them. You can start with the sweepstakes casinos promo code or welcome bonus. This usually gives you a chunk of SC. After that, make sure you claim the daily login bonus, even if you don’t intend to play games that day.
With these two promos sorted, you can turn attention to the lesser-used free sweepstakes coins promo like the mail-in request. Consider sending this request off periodically to boost your coin balance. You can then like and follow the sweepstakes casino on social media, turn notifications on, and look out for competitions and giveaways.
